Did you know that daily morning affirmations play a very important role for increasing self love and giving your day an amazing start?
Imagine how happy and productive your days could be!
We’ve taken the time to gather together some of our favorite affirmations for self love so you can start implementing them into your daily morning routine.
Here you’ll also learn what self love really means and what are some negative affirmations that may be preventing you from moving forward.
What is Self Love?
Self love and selfishness get mistaken a lot but are both very different. Selfishness is something that I really try to stay away from because that’s when you only care about your personal profit or pleasure. Meaning you don’t care about anyone else and become obsessed with your ego.
Self love on the other hand is a combination of three main things in my opinion. These are self confidence, self esteem and self worth. When you feel strong and believe in your abilities, your confidence grows. If your emotions are positive and you have control over them, your self esteem grows. When you recognize how important you are and how much value you bring to this beautiful life, your self worth grows.

Affirmations That Are Holding You Back
You may not have realized this but there are affirmations that actually hold you back from self love. There are actually many people who not knowingly say these negative affirmations and push love away, e.g. “no one will ever love me”, “I feel worthless”, “I don’t deserve love”, “I am not good enough”. Even if you only think about these or just say them here and there, you are still putting out negative vibrations.
According to the Law Of Attraction, “like attracts like” and if you’re giving off negative energy then you’ll receive that same type of energy back. However, what if you were to start replacing negative thoughts and affirmations with positive ones? Imagine all the good and positive things in life that you could attract!
How to Turn Negative Affirmations Into Positive Ones
Lets start by writing down a list of things that you dislike about yourself. This is a bit hard but it’s ok to let things off your chest. Once you’ve made your list, now it’s time to change every negative word into a positive word, e.g. change “I can’t find love” to “I am worthy of love”.
You can also rephrase them a little to your liking. Try using “I am” in front of your affirmations because that gives it a stronger meaning. Write down as many affirmations as you can and then post your favorite ones where you can easily see them in the morning or before sleep.
Remember that you become what you constantly think about. Start thinking positive, speak positive affirmations and then visualize your life filled with love and abundance.
Use your list of positive affirmations as a reminder to stay consistent and on track. Try saying them first thing in the morning, during midday and before you go to sleep.
Self love is a combination of self confidence, self esteem and self worth. Believe in your abilities, try to control your emotions and know that you bring value to this beautiful life in many ways.
Let go of bad habits or affirmations that may be holding you back from increasing your self love. You become what you think about, so start thinking positive!
Write down a list of your favorite affirmations and post them where you can easily see them first thing in the morning. This works as a great reminder to set your day off to a positive start.
The more you practice these, the better results you’ll get. Try saying your affirmations first thing in the morning, at mid day and right before bed time. You can also close your eyes to visualize or listen to sound vibrations to help manifest your affirmations.
